Policy & Booking Terms
Appointments

Booking: All appointments must be booked in advance via my online booking system.

Confirmation: A confirmation will be sent once your booking is secured - please check your junk folder.

Consultations: Consultation appointments are required for all new colour & hair extension clients, and for existing clients wanting a big colour change.
Payment
-
Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment, deductible from the final bill.

Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include cash, card or Paypal.

Balance: The remaining balance is due immediately upon service completion.
Cancellations & Rescheduling

Notice Period: Please provide at least 72 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations within 72 hours of the appointment will forfeit the deposit.

No-Show Policy: No-Shows will be charged 50-100% of the service cost.
Travel Policy
-
Travel Fee: A travel fee of 45p per mile applies to locations beyond North Abingdon.

Travel Distance: I do not travel to locations that are more than 15miles from OX14 1BL.

Minimum Spend: For mobile services, a minimum spend of £45 applies.

Refunds

No Refunds: Due to the nature of the service, refunds are not offered. If there is an issue, please contact me within 48 hours so I can address it. ​

Health & Safety

Patch Tests: Patch tests are mandatory before colour services. For clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding this will need to be complete 48 hours prior to a colouring service, and for anyone else Colourstart Patch Test kits are required to be complete 96 hours prior to your colour service.

Illness: Please reschedule if you are unwell, as I have the right to refuse services to ensure health & safety.
Special Requests

Any special requirments (example: accessibility needs) must be communicated at the time of booking. You can do this by either adding this to the notes section upon online booking, texting or emailing me.
Privacy Policy

Your personal information will be handled in compliance with GDPR. It will only be used for booking and service-related purposes.
Hair Extensions
-
Consultation: A consultation appointment is required for all new hair extension clients.

Hair Supply: I only fit hair that that has been supplied by myself to ensure quality, compatibility and for insurance purposes.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking your Hair Extension appointment. The deposit covers the cost of ordering your hair and ensures your appointment is held.

Booking: Your appointments for application & maintenance will be made through me directly, not online. This is so I can make sure I have the correct amount of time scheduled based on your individual needs. Appointments will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.

Pricing: Final pricing is determined after a consultation based on the type, length, and quantity of hair required.

Payments: Payments can be made in cash, card or via a secure payment link.

Methods I Offer: I offer 2 different methods - Tape-In and Micro Weft.

Suppliers: I have 3 suppliers I use, all offering exceptional high-grade human hair. They have an array of lengths and colour variations including Highlights and Balayage. Custom colouring can be discussed, if required.

Removal: I do not remove hair extensions fitted by anyone else other than myself.
Hair Extension Maintenance

Maintenance appointments are required every 6-8 weeks, depending on the type of extensions.

It is the clients responsibility to follow the aftercare instructions provided during the appointment. Failure to do so may result in damage to your extensions or natural hair.

Neglecting maintenance appointments may lead to tangling, matting, or damage, for which Jasmin King Hairdressing is not responsible for.

Jasmin King Hairdressing will not be liable for any damage caused by improper aftercare, third-party removal or failure to follow recommendations. ​
